About
Christopher has been making art since he was a boy, drawn at once to the immersive detail of comic books and to paintings big enough to feel as though they’d swallow him whole.
He was taught watercolor by a mentor in private elementary school and concentrated in art through high school. Graphic design became a large portion of his professional life, as he spent decades designing for firms large and small.
Most of what he has painted since has been private commissions. His large acrylic canvases and detailed watercolor studies have been in private hands, and largely unseen, for over three decades. Only now is his work reaching a wider audience through this gallery and private showings.
